Rebranding the Hippest Art Organization in Town for Growth
BFF Omaha
BFF Omaha (formerly Benson First Friday) is a non-profit dedicated to supporting the region’s emerging and established artists by creating opportunity, exposure and experiences that help them move forward while enriching the cultural competency of the greater Omaha area.
BFF aimed to streamline their name as they extended their reach beyond Omaha and Nebraska. Considering this, I assisted them in crafting a fresh brand identity that not only showcased their artistic essence but also embodied the do-it-yourself ethos of the organization. The logo was designed to reflect their inclusive and approachable demeanor.

rebrand
As Benson First Friday transformed to BFFOmaha they needed a logo to represent their voice in the arts.
logo lockups
BFFOmaha needed a way to showcase all of the programs and places that BFF exists, so we worked on logo lockup system that allowed them to do just that.
stationery
BFFOmaha focuses on showcasing artists which was an idea we translated throughout the brand materials, including the updated stationery.
brand book
BFF needed a formal document to maintain brand consistency as well as educate new volunteers on BFF’s story, mission, brand voice, and much more. This brand book has become an internal tool and reference point for all things BFF.
launch video
BFF needed to communicate their change to the public after 8 years in operation, so we made a video! I used photo stills the organization had taken over the years and animated them into a cinemagraph.Voices of volunteers, staff, and project leads were used for the final narration.
recording progress
For BFF’s ten year anniversary we worked on an annual report to present the impact BFF has had on the community.
