Election Systems and Software

Election Systems & Software creates the machines and software that counts ballots for elections across the country. In 2021 ESS came to me with the goal of expanding their illustration library to be more inclusive. We worked together to create an expanded character set that is more diverse in race, gender identity, age, and ability. These characters can be seen around the nation in polling places in hopes of creating a more welcoming experience for voters.
